More eye candy ;)

One of my new favourite blogs to frequent is boatshed chic. Beth's most recent post was about her recent trip to a popular and rather exclusive store in the up market Sydney suburb of Woollahra called Imagine This. This store is like Sydney's version of Melbournes Miguel Meirelles antiques and the stores owners regularly visit Paris and Provence and bring back container loads of treasures....

City of lights...

The lovely Anastasia of Anastasia drawings and dreaming blog just finished hosting a week of French. One of her posts featured this link to an absolutely AMAZING panoramic view of Paris (thank you Anastasia!). Click the link below and scroll across this phenomenal image and you'll feel like you're right there! Enjoy!....http://framboise78.free.fr/Paris.htm...http://anastasiac.blogspot.com/

So pretty!

J'adore this image from an eclectic boudoir store in Portland Oregon, USA called Flutter!Originally posted by desire to inspire this girly boutique's tag line is "A delightful disarray of found objects and clutter".To me it looks like Portlands version of Melbourne's Harem store. Just my kind of shopping!Check out their website and online store for a visual feast of recycled goodness :)http://

Noone! does it like the French...

I was recently introduced to Miguel Meirelles european antiques store in Melbourne, Australia from Anna Spiro of Absolutely Beautiful Things.Miguel travels three times a year to Europe to find pieces with personality for his shop, his criteria being whether he “would happily put each piece in his own house”. The shop stocks an eclectic range of antique furniture and decorative items, ranging from

The homes of the southern highlands - and coincidentally their love of black and white flooring - part 2.

A traditional Australian cottage in Bowral. I love the victorian bathroom with all the antique glassware.A country kitchen doesn't get much cuter than this!Gorgeous cedar windows creating warmth and space. The many features of this house include 3 double bedrooms, bathroom with full bath, double vanity, shower, w.c. and tastic light. Large country-style kitchen with sandstock brick fireplace,

The homes of the southern highlands - part 1

My post a few days ago talking about Bowral and the southern highlands of NSW, prompted me to visit realestate.com and see just whats for sale at the moment down there. I was completely blown away at the endless amount of heavenly properties that are currently available. Unfortunately for me the majority of homes that I picked are indeed out of my league lol. Nevertheless I had to post a few of

These are a few of my favourite things...

This months Country Home Ideas magazine has arrived and it's chock full of goodies:) Firstly I wanted to mention this place - So French. After seeing the full page ad in the mag I remembered my last visit there and how much I treasure this store. So French is situated in Bowral in the beautiful NSW Southern Highlands. The area itself is picturesque and historic. Growing up, this area was always
